Join us for the Fifth Annual PALS Waddle Walk!

In your neighborhood the weekend of June 24-25, 2023.

The Waddle Walk is Pregnancy After Loss Support’s (PALS) grassroots event to help raise funds to continue to support parents who are trying to conceive, pregnant, and parenting after loss. As we create new features for our Pregnancy After Loss App and launch new programs at PALS, your support is crucial.

No matter where you are on your journey after loss or whether you are supporting a loved one who has experienced loss, the Waddle Walk is for you. Waddle, walk, or run three miles to remember the babies gone too soon, celebrate those babies who are born after loss, and support courageous parents on this unique and challenging journey. We hope you’ll join us.

How does the virtual Waddle Walk Work?

Great! Thank you for your willingness to support PALS and its services.

  • General registration ($50) includes a personalized fundraising page, one Waddle Walk event t-shirt*, and exclusive access to the PALS Waddle Walk Facebook group. *You must register by Friday, May 26, 2023, to guarantee a t-shirt.

  • You may order additional t-shirts for your team members. T-shirts available in sizes Youth XS – Adult 3X. See event page for price and availability.

  • Add your child’s name to the “In memory” on the back of the official Waddle Walk t-shirts for an additional $50. See event page for availability. Names must be submitted by Monday, May 22, 2023, to be included.

2. Plan your walk.

  • Choose a location for your walk. Because this is a virtual walk, there isn’t one location for the Waddle Walk. The Waddle Walk is a collection of walks put on all over the world by different courageous parents held all on the same weekend. Some ideas include parks, the mall, walking trails, the beach, or any other place you’re free to gather.

  • Choose a time for your walk. Waddle Walks should be held on Saturday, June 24 or Sunday, June 25, 2023. The time is up to you!

3. Raise funds for Pregnancy After Loss Support.

  • Choose a fundraising goal for your team. The overall fundraising goal for this event is $30,000: $10,000 for each trimester of pregnancy after loss.

  • Share your fundraising page on social media and through email, encouraging others to donate to your walk.

  • Give updates to supporters leading up to the event, as well as on the day of the event. Post pictures with the hashtags #WaddleWalk2023 and #PALSWaddleWalk so others can see who all is walking for PALS.

  • Share the fundraiser with your friends and family and encourage them to donate.

  • Share graphics from PALS social media accounts to help spread awareness about pregnancy after loss and the Waddle Walk event.

How will the funds raised be used?

  • To develop new features and maintain our Pregnancy After Loss App, now available on Apple App Store and Google Play.

  • To create new programming and services to support parents pregnant again after a loss.

  • To educate providers and raise awareness about the unique experience of pregnancy after loss.
