PALS (Pregnancy After Loss Support) offers a public and private online Facebook support to moms on their journey through a subsequent pregnancy after a loss. Palmer – The Compassionate Friends have a weekly support group on Thursdays at the Lutheran Church.

Wasilla – TEARS Support Group meets on the last Tuesday of each month at Church on the Rock.



Flagstaff – JLB Project Heart Work Group – Heart Work grief group is facilitated by local psychologist, Dr. Chris Gunn. These free meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM, at the Anna LaBenz Photography Studio (306 E. RT 66). Loma Linda – Hopeful Journey (A subsequent pregnancy support group) – Walking the path of loss and hope: A group for moms who are pregnant after experiencing the loss of a baby. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Loma Linda University Hospital. Free but phone registration is required, (909) 558-4000 ext. 15958.

Newport Beach – Pregnancy After Loss Group at the Hoag conference center, meets 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month from 7-8, led by Laura Novarro-Pickens.

San Francisco – Pregnancy After Loss Support Group at Newborn Connections (3698 California St., 1st Floor, San Francisco, CA). Meets 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7-9pm. San Mateo – HAND – Pregnancy Support Meetings – Meets the second Wednesday of each month from 7:30-9:30pm at Mills Health Center, Palm Room, 100 So. San Mateo Drive, San Mateo, CA 94401. Parents who are pregnant again after a loss have special emotional and psychological needs. Pregnancy Support Group meetings address the concerns of bereaved parents who have started or are thinking about starting another pregnancy. Denver – A New Beginnings Support Group: This group is designed for parents who have previously experienced a loss and are in need of some extra support. A free five-week support group provides a safe environment to share thoughts and feelings. Groups are held Tuesday evenings. Participants must sign up 48 hours in advance of the class date, and a minimum of four participants is necessary to proceed with the group. To register for this support group or request more information, please call 303-788-LOSS (5677) or send an e-mail. It is not a therapy group, but a self-help support group. Reservations are not necessary, nor is there a fee. This group is available to you no matter who your doctor is, where you delivered, and regardless of how long it has been since your loss. Each meeting begins with introductions, followed by a topic of discussion and then open sharing. Discussion is not limited to the presentation topic; each meeting includes independent sharing based on concerns and interests expressed by the participants in addition to specific topics. Interaction among the group is encouraged, however, no one is required to participate more than what is comfortable. A Perinatal Bereavement Support Person is at each meeting as the facilitator. Camp Hill – Child of my Heart Support Group – Holy Spirit Health System offers a free support group for those who have experienced miscarriage, pregnancy loss, or the death of a child. “Child of My Heart” meets on the second Monday of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The support group is led by a nurse practitioner from Holy Spirit Hospital’s Behavioral Health department. Harrisburg – Rainbows: Pregnancy After Loss Support Group – Rainbows provides parent support to families who have had pregnancy losses and are considering becoming pregnant again, are currently pregnant, or have recently given birth. Rainbows meets on the second Thursday of the month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Rehab Building at Pinnacle Health Community Campus, second floor Conference Room. There is no registration required and no fee to attend these support groups. State College – HEART of Central PA – This is a seven-week program that is held twice each year and is for parents/couples who have experienced pregnancy loss, still birth or early infant death.
