About Marjanna Barber-Dubois

Marjanna Barber-Dubois lives in rural Vermont with her wife Hawthorne and works as a clinical quality specialist for their local hospital. As a queer couple, they used IUI to become pregnant. Carrying their son was difficult for Marjanna and included gallbladder attacks, gestational diabetes, kidney stones, and underlying chronic hypertension. In July 2018, their son Oscar Prince was born still at 35 weeks. Marjanna is currently pregnant with their rainbow, expected in late November 2019. She wants to let loss parents know, particularly LGBTQ+ loss parents, that they are not alone, even when it feels that way.
